NeoCells is proud to use heparin* free collection bags to help maintain cell viability, a functionally closed bag processing system to help eliminate potential airborne contamination, and has superior results by utilizing a unique sterile cord blood processing system that yields high levels of critical cells as well as the highest red blood cell depletion rate available today.  Cord blood specimens are given a unique identification code and administered using StemSoft’s StemLabTM software, specifically designed for use with the cord blood industry to help ensure quality and regulatory compliance standards.

Once processing is complete, the cord blood specimen is slowly and carefully brought to storage temperature using an automated controlled rate freezer and then set (in assigned inventory locations for easy identification and retrieval) in long-term storage in vapor-phase nitrogen tanks with 24-hour monitored alarm devices and back-up systems at a consistent -196 Degrees Celsius.
